Hi there! I’m Anant Patankar, a Senior AI Engineer who believes powerful AI shouldn’t require powerful wallets.
My journey into AI wasn’t exactly straightforward – it actually began in a crime lab! After getting my Master’s in Forensic Science, I spent my days analysing evidence and solving puzzles through data. But somewhere between examining fingerprints and writing lab reports, I fell in love with working with data itself.
That curiosity led me to AI, where I’ve now spent nearly five years exploring this exciting field. Today, I focus on the technologies that are changing how we use computers – from generative AI that creates new content, to machine learning systems that make decisions, all the way to MLOps that keeps these systems running smoothly. The best part? Taking these cutting-edge concepts out of research papers and actually putting them to work solving real business challenges.
What I Do
I work as a Senior AI Engineer in Bangalore. What really drives me is building AI that’s actually useful—something people can rely on, not just another demo. My focus? Making AI work smarter, not harder. Here’s what keeps me busy:

I work with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (Azure AI, AWS), but my philosophy’s simple: Maximum impact, minimal fuss. Cutting costs, boosting performance, and proving you don’t need deep pockets – just deep thinking—to build AI that rocks.
